When world famous barrel racer Martha Josey says she trust a Cimarron Trailer with her most precious cargo, it means a lot. Martha has over 40 years experience in the equine industry. Paying special attention to her horses needs during transport has won her an Olympic Medal in 1988 and countless other barrel racing honors over the years. Martha was the first woman to win both the AQHA and the WPBR World Championships in the same year. She has qualified for the NFR during four consecutive decades. She competed in 1968, 1969, 1978,1979,1980,1981,1985, 1987, 1989, 1990, and 1998. In 1985 Martha was inducted into the Cowgirl Hall of Fame and in 1999 she was named the Women’s Sports Foundation, AQHA National Female Equestrian of the year. As recently as 2003, when she was AQHA Reserve World Champion, Martha was still winning titles.
Out of the saddle Martha and her husband, world champion calf roper RE Josey, are known for they dedication to passing their skills onto to other. The Josey’s put on world class equistrian clinics specializing in horsemanship, barrel racing, and calf roping. The Josey’s host students at their ranch in Marshall Texas and also take their know how on the road, offering clinics across the country. They also host nationally acclaimed competitions including the Josey Jr. World Championship Barrel Race and the Josey Reunion Roundup.
